If you’re like me, ideas pop in my head unscheduled and unanticipated throughout the day. I even keep a pen and notepad next to my bed in the event I get an epiphany before falling asleep. As I’ve gotten in the habit of writing things down, I don’t forget that next great idea, and I free up my mind for additional inspiration.
If you get in the habit of using a calendar and following a schedule, you will inherently become more productive. Try it! I asked one of my kids to try calendaring for a week and he reported back that he’d never felt so “productive” and “self-fulfilled.”
Making time for spirituality helps increase self-awareness. I believe in a Law of Heaven, which brings back good things to you as you offer good things to others. As you make time for the spiritual, you’ll be surprised at how much more likely things will go your way.
Cardio! This is likely a 4-letter word for most, me included. However, as I’ve dedicated at least 5 days a week to 1 hour of cardio, I’ve experienced several benefits. These benefits include an increase in mental focus, physical endurance, and overall enjoyment. There’s something about sweating that is cleansing. Don’t believe me? Try it!
